**GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED**
If you've read my blog for any amount of time, you know I love photography. Through my blog, I have gotten to know some wonderfully talented photographers. One of my favorites is Katie at Bird's Eye View Photography. I was thrilled when she recently announced that she would be selling her photographs in her new Etsy Shop! Her work is striking and dramatic and she has a wonderfully artistic style.
I asked Katie to share a bit about herself and her photography so you can get to know her and better appreciate her work. This is what she shared:
"I live in rural Iowa with my husband of almost 6 years and two boys.
Photography for me is a way of life. I see the world through the lens of my camera, even when it is not in my hands.
When I was 18, my father handed me a Nikon F and told me to get in the car. We drove through sleepy little Iowa towns and down windy gravel roads. Around each corner there was another opportunity to capture something on film. We would then go back home and spend hours in the dark room. I can still smell the developer.
He gave me the love of photography.
However it was not until 7 years passed, a digital SLR Nikon camera was again gifted to me, and my children came along that I truly began to obsess about my photography.
A day rarely passes that I do not capture something with my camera."
Win It!
